One of my good friends Julie lives in Tampa, FL right now while she is pursuing her masters degree. Last month I went to visit her to escape some of the cold weather here in Chattanooga.
When I was visiting Kansas City this weekend, I went to the Miracle Christmas Pop-up Bar.
When we deiced to head out to New York for Christmas we had a lot to figure out and plan. I already had all the places to visit and things we wanted to do. The trickiest part of traveling is always in the details.
Cats are my favorite animals and growing up we always had at least one cat around. Now that I’m older I don’t have any animals because I travel so often but if I did, I for sure have a cat again.
Last year my Mom retired from teaching! She has had some bucket list trips she’s always wanted to go on so last November we had our first things crossed off our list.
It’s starting to get colder here in Tennessee so I start to reminiscing about all the warmer weather we just got out of.
In honor of my upcoming vacation, I thought it would be fun to do a comparison of what the differences are from the last time I went overseas in 2009 to France and Spain.
On Saturday evening I will be heading out of the country to Ireland. I am beyond excited, so I thought I’d share with you all my favorite things to bring with me on my travels. Of course this is not everything I bring (I’m a total over-packer) but these are just my must haves!
I know you’ve probably heard of pub crawls but have you ever heard of a caffeine crawl?
I went on this coffee & tea caffeine crawl in Kansas City while visiting my best friend in Missouri. Jason the crawl guide was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout our entire crawl.
This crawl is so different than anything else I had been on. Most of the beer crawls I go on our self guided in a sense you don’t have a plan or specific way to do things but I really enjoyed how there was a set schedule for this crawl.
So it’s been hot minute since I’ve posted but I have just been so dang busy. For whatever reason September and October are always my busiest months and this year was not any different.
So for this post I’d thought I’d just do a quick recap of the past two months with some of the fun things I was able to do!
